Lever Escutcheon Trim
The BQ Lock TD4000 Series lock comes standard with a brushed chrome/stainless steel finish.  The finish is weather resistant and will remain good looking for many years to come. 
The lever trim includes rubber gaskets to help provide a weatherproof installation.

The trim is easily secured to the door using 4 heavy duty tamper proof stainless steel through bolts.  This allows for proper alignment and years of trouble free service. 

The levers are heavy duty forged stainless steel.  The levers are securely bolted to the escutcheons so problem of levers falling off is eliminated.

The lever design matches with many interior lockset designs.  The escutcheon trim is smooth and easy to clean.  

Panic Proof Mortise Lock Body
BQ Lock K-3000 uses our Grade 1 quality extremely heavy duty Stainless Steel Panic Proof Mortise lock. 
The lock is easily field reversible for Left or Right, Inswing or outswing applications.
The K-3000 uses only the Best Quality components inside our mortise lock.  The springs are military grade and our latchbolt and deadbolts are stainless steel for fire ratings & security.

Printed Circuit Board & Electronics
BQ Locks use our own processor system developed over 17 years of service.  All components are of the Best Quality.
At BQ Lock we design our controllers around the world famous Texas Instrument microprocessor.  BQ Lock has found that TI processors are the most reliable and provide the functions while having extremely low power consumption. 

After our PC Board is assembled and wired we place the board in our mounting bracket and pour a waterproof epoxy completely sealing the electronics assembly.  The resulting assembly is 100% waterproof.

The BQ K-3000 Series motor & switch operations are combined within the escutcheon trim.  This is very important as they are protected from maintenance mechanics spraying lubricants into the mortise locks.  This keeps electronics safe and allows easy service should any be required.

The interior battery holder secured by one security type screw, has one plug that passes through the door.  This provides for easy installation and battery replacement.

Our locks have consistently provided 3-4 years use per set of 4 Standard AA alkaline batteries.
